International Footprint Association, Ridgecrest, Chapter 60 is located in Indian Wells Valley of East Kern County, California. This portion of the High Desert is home to these law enforcement groups:

  • The City of Ridgecrest Police Department
  • Kern County Sheriff's Substation
  • California Highway Patrol Substation
  • Security Police of the Naval Air Warfare Center, China Lake
  • Naval Investigative Service, China Lake
  • The Bureau of Land Management

Chapter 60 supports all the above groups. Toward that end we:

  • Purchased radios and batteries for the Kern County Sheriff's Citizen Patrol Unit which patrols the vast unincorporated areas of eastern Kern County.
  • Donated funds to the local volunteer organization "Police and Community Together" (PACT). This group aids the local police with numerous duties and helps keep the City of Ridgecrest graffiti free.
  • Provided equipment to the excellent local mine and mountain search and rescue teams.
  • Raised funds for the City of Ridgecrest's D.A.R.E. program, the Sheriff's Volunteer program and other local law enforcement organizations with annual golf tournaments.
  • Continue to provide moral support and fellowship for citizens and peace officers throughout the region.
  • Provide three scholarships each semester to students pursuing studies in law enforcement.

These are just a few of the many interests of Chapter 60. Each year we expand our services to local law enforcement. We meet the second Wednesday of the month at the Knights of Columbus Hall and
invite you to join us for a good meal and fine company. To confirm meeting
